Happy to share that we have just reached an important milestone of €700 million worth of loans funded since the launch of TWINO investment platform’s operations back in 2015. The two main contributors to these volumes are our key markets, namely, Russia and Poland that are currently offering their loans with an interest rate of 10% p.a. Adjust your Auto-Invest settings if necessary and let’s start our way towards the next goals.
TWINO Group’s activities
- Update on our Loan originators:
- Russia: for both of our loan originators the borrower bad rates/ non-performing loans have dropped even below the pre-Covid levels, thus signalling not only a solid recovery but even a better than usual portfolio quality. The monthly sales volumes also continue to rebound with one of the originators posting nearly 10% growth month-over-month.
- Poland: the same story as in Russia, the bad rates are below the pre-Covid levels and we are focusing on a gradual sales growth by issuing to good quality borrowers.
- Latvia: we had significantly decreased sales during the Q2 of 2020; however, July was the month, when the issuance levels returned to levels seen at the beginning of the year. At the same time, we continue to serve only the higher quality customers.
- Kazakhstan: this is a market where we remain cautious and conservative with very low issuance volumes as the Covid-19 impact is very much still there.
- We are changing our currency rate provider to CurrencyLayer that will ensure reliable exchange rates. This is extremely important when it comes to our Currency Exposure functionality, where currency fluctuations impact your return. This will go into effect on 20.08.2020.
- As a result of currency rate provider change, our User and Assignment agreements will see an update. In addition to those changes, we will also update the User agreement’s section regarding the withdrawals by specifying that the minimum withdrawal amount is set at €10/£10 and that only one withdrawal at a time can be requested. The new agreements will be introduced on 20.08.2020.
- We have signed an agreement with identity verification service provider Onfido that will bring this process to the next level, while at the same time maintaining the top level of user experience for all of you. More information to follow in the weeks to come.
